I’ve been actively researching and writing about bitcoin for over eight years. I am already consulting with friends and family who are interested in buying bitcoin, and decided I’d like to expand that service. How much does this cost?

I’ll do an initial consult with you to get you on your bitcoin journey for free. Just fill out your name and email and a bit about why you’re interested in bitcoin in the form above.

What do I get out of this?

In addition to a free initial consultation, I’ll email you a host of educational materials and links to trusted resources that can help you better understand this emergent digital field.

Would you be buying bitcoin for me?

Unfortunately, as I’m not a financial advisor, I cannot and will not purchase bitcoin for you. I’m just a consultant. However, I have trusted contacts at highly reputable bitcoin-only exchanges that I can put you in email and phone contact with who would love to walk you through the process. All purchasing and holding of bitcoin would be done by you or someone close that you delegate to and trust.

Why would I need you to help me buy bitcoin?

You don’t. Feel free to navigate to a trusted centralized exchange like River and purchase bitcoin by yourself. My consulting efforts are to arm people with knowledge about this new financial instrument, and to provide a “phone a friend” type situation so that they can feel confident in explaining to themselves and others what they are purchasing.

What about other types of cryptocurrency?

As laid out in my book, ‘Pay Attention to Bitcoin’, it is my belief that there can only be one type of cryptocurrency, and that is bitcoin. This is due to the fact that money tends to converge upon a single unit of account. All other so-called cryptocurrencies are probably more like cryptotechnologies at best, and scams at worst. My consulting efforts are restricted to my area of expertise, which is bitcoin. All the information, companies, and contacts I may connect you with are similarly only focused on bitcoin.
